a. Relief materials from Dubai
Vellnez received cargo goods of around 5000 kg sent by Malayali Moms Middle East (MMME), an organization which has around 26,000 members from all parts of the Middle East. The goods were handed over to the Kozhikode District Administration to be distributed to the flood afflicted needy
b. Operation Navajeevan
• During 2018 floods, with the support of district administration and District health department, we initiated a system of public private participation (PPP) model for supporting the medical camps. Here all the private and public health sector were coordinated and given charge of each medical camp so that no camps were left unattended.
c. Medicines for the Medical camps
• VFT distributed essential medicines worth around 6 lakhs rupees donated by Genozed Formulations to the District Administration and that was supplied to various camps
d. MEGA MEDICAL CAMP AT WAYANAD VFT
supported the camp by providing doctors for the camp, free spectacles and wheel chair to the needy
e. Supporting the Helping hand extended from Kolkata
Vellnez along with ANGELS supported the District Administration and played an active role in distribution of goods worth around 2 crores collected by Dr. PB Salim IAS, the Secretary to the Govt. West Bengal and the former collector of Kozhikode district.
f. WHEELCHAIRS FOR THE FLOOD AFFECTED
40 Wheel chairs worth around 2 lakhs rupees supported by 42nd batch of medical college Calicut were handed over through various organizations at Wayanad, Kannur, Alappuzha, Kozhikode.
g. DONATIONS from Kolkatta
VFT helped 7 families with 9.5 lakh rupees raised by Dr. PB Salim IAS, through the CSR activity of a firm from Kolkatta. The funds were utilized for repair works of houses that were afflicted by flood.
